Hi, My Son Will 43 Yrs Old As Of 7/3/18

Hi, my son will 43 yrs old as of 7/3/18 and is hospitalized with low WBC count, fever 102, severe pain in lower abdomen. Dr/ suspects acute diverticulitis yesterday. However was sen 2 weeks ago with similar symptoms and diagnosed with a form of H-plyori and treated with Levaquin. He ended up being allergic to this med and ended up with acute gout in rt foot and blood shot eyeballs and pain and same symptoms.
Treatment today is antibiotic drip, saline solution IV and morphine every 4 hrs. Cannot not have anything to eat, drink, not even ice chips! We are at 2 weeks dealing with the above symptoms and not at right diagnosis yet! Can you help us understand the above.

Can you help us.
