Hi, over the last 5 years I have tested several times with negative results with regards to Hep C, though I did test positive originally for the antibodies to Hep C. Just last week we tested and I am still clear. My concern continues to be quality of life: do I need to continue to worry about exposing sexual partners for the remainder of my life. Literature that I have read in the past says it is a low risk worry, yet, my doctor said in her opinion, not enough is known about how it is spread for someone in my 'clear' situation. It was suggested years ago that my body must have defeated it, and another doctor said not to worry anymore, but this new doctor has thrown me for a loop, and now I would like get the opinion from a hepatoligist, so that I can take the correct precautions, as I would like to have children naturally one day (male). Thank you for your time.
