Hi There, I Don’t Know If You Need This Info

Hi there,
I don’t know if you need this info but I am a healthy 21 year old female 5’4 130 lbs. I I have been in a monogamous relationship with my boyfriend for the last year. We are sexually active and I have had the Paraguard Copper IUD for the last three years. I have never had any major issues with it (my period is a little bit longer and heavier, but nothing too crazy). However, about a month ago, my period came a little bit later than usual, it was extremely heavy. I soaked through super plus tampons and heavy duty pads (worn separately) within a few hours. This has never been normal for me. I had intense pain on the right side of my uterus area. My breasts swelled up larger than normal. The PH of my vagina has been different with the IUD; however, it seemed even more different this time (different smell). Additionally, I seemed to look a but chunky, as if I had gained weight rather quickly. With all these symptoms, I really thought my IUD must have been flushing something out, like maybe an attempted pregnancy, I don’t know? A little less than a month later, I am about to start my next period. I am having “normal” period symptoms again and they are on time. However, I was just using the restroom and when I looked down, there was a little clump of what looked like tissue of some sort. It was a whitish pinkish color with a larger pink dot in the center of the matter. I know I’m about to start my period but I have no idea what this is and it’s kind of freaking me out. I am planning on seeing my Nurse Practitioner next week, but I would like some insight to what this is and if I need to do something sooner than later. Thank you for your response, it is greatly appreciated.
