Hi There, I Had A Bottom Right Molar Extracted From

Hi there, I had a bottom right molar extracted from my mouth about 6 weeks ago. Now, where the empty socket is, there is a red squishy bump filling the socket. It moves if I poke on it, much like a blister would, but I don't know if it is normal. It does NOT hurt, no burning, no throbbing, just irritating as all. There is a tiny bone sliver coming out from the edge of it, so I'm thinking maybe the extraction site has swollen to push the bone chips out. Should I try to pop it and drain it? Or just leave it alone?
