Hiiiii, I'm 20 And Recently Came Down With An Awful

Hiiiii, I'm 20 and recently came down with an awful cold which I think actually may be an upper respiratory infection possibly, I've had one once in the past when I was at a younger age & this feels much like it, I have a runny nose, fever, incredibly bad sore throat along with gross mucus. Earlier tonight around 2AM my right ear made a pop sound as it normally does when I have a cold / flu as if it was 'stopped up' or something but later this morning I've noticed hearing loss almost & the sound of like a robot voice? very tinny, this concerned me and I will be seeing my doctor soon but I wanted to ask to see just what it is or could be. Thanks so so much
