How Accurate Is A Home Drug Test?

i recently purchased a home drug test to test my son how accurate are they his test showed up with a red line in the control area and a faint grayish white line in the drug area the diagram shows a faint pink line to test negative if any type of line faint as it is would that be considered negative? thank you for your time!!!
