How Safe Is Taking Vyvanse For ADD And Depression?

I am 44 and have had minimal change nephrotic syndrome for 42 years. I was recently prescribed Vyvanse 60 mgs to treat adult ADD and depression. Since taking it I have noticed that I have extremely frothy urine, as if I m having a relapse of nephrotic syndrome, but I have no other symptoms that usually come with those relapses. I thought maybe I was just dehydrated, so I upped my water intake. After I drink a substantial amount of water, the urine gets far less frothy, but I seem to urinate more often than usual. Dipstick testing for protein has been inconclusive. I have become concerned after reading some information on various internet sites indicating there have been cases of people on Vyvanse experiencing kidney failure and / or kidney stones. The medication has helped me for its intended purpose, but I am worried that I might be hurting myself more by continuing it. I also known amphetamines can cause dehydration. Do you think this is dehydration or something more substantial?
