How To Get Rid Of Scars?

Hello. After some research i have discovered the discoloration from my heating pad is called Erythema Ab Igne. It says to remove the heat source for treatment but I suffer from endo and the chronic pain makes that almost impossible. Is there any other treatment to help fade the scaring?
