How To Treat Lack Of Movement On One Side Of Body Due To A Stroke?

I need a REALISTIC idea of what to expect with my sister's health. She is 53 and had a stroke 3 years ago. One side of her body is somewhat compromised and she is in a wheelchair. She can get out some and tries to do some things, like help herself in the bathroom and cook, but she often falls when she is out of the chair. Her husband does most things for her. She has high blood pressure and diabetes, and has started having kidney failure. Her kidneys are about 33% compromised and she has had to go off of some of her high blood pressure and diabetes meds because of it. She is at least 60 pounds overweight and not always eating healthy. She is not interested in diet or physical therapy to help her get healthier, and I want to know what to expect as I come to grips with her choices. What is likely to happen here, and when?
