How To Treat Severe Pain On Top Of Head Caused After A Injury?

I was opening the trunk of my car and the trunk lid fell HARD on the top of my head. I have a lot of pain but no visible bleeding, didn t lose consciousness, dizzy for just a moment, no disorientation, no slurred speech. Should I be seen in the ER? And, what about sleeping?
