I Am A 53 Year Old Male, Generally In Excellent

I am a 53 year old male, generally in excellent health. I have been sick with a chronic cough for about 5 months. I have been to see my doctor on several occasions. At one point, I was diagnosed with strep throat.
I was coughing at that point. I took a Z-pack, and seemed to get better, but I am STILL coughing. I went back to my doctor 3 weeks ago. She prescribed Albuterall and Prednisone. Again, I thought I was getting better, but I am STILL coughing. It is a dry, non-productive cough. My check X-ray was clear. I have never smoked.
I work out daily, and maintain a healthy weight. Unfortunately, I also travel a lot for my job. I am on airplanes several times most weeks. What do you think my next step should be? Thank you.
