I Am A 55 Year Old Very Active Woman Who

I am a 55 year old very active woman who has been experiencing (at times painfully) icy cold sensations in my nostrils, inside upper lip and frontal gum between eye teeth, front roof of mouth, tongue and right cheek area (adjacent to my nose) for approximately three months now. Ironically, these "pins & needles" sensations initially started in my pelvic/saddle/inner and back thigh region for about a week before similar tingling and icy sensations began in my face. The facial sensations usually begin in the late morning/early afternoon and can last until I am able to fall asleep at night. Sensations in the nose/mouth can graduate from icy cold to a tingling-prickly, then numbness. The tingling-prickly sensation on the right side of my face can radiate to entire same side of head and run down the right side of my body, at times as far as my lower calf. I have also had abrupt instances of this sensation on the left side of my body. Both episodes leave me feeling weak, cognitively challenged/confused, and with difficulty keeping balance (feeling spatially out of sorts). These issues have evolved from happening every few days for a few hours to almost daily for 6-10 hours, and are accompanied by a deep read discoloration of my nose that extends to either side (interior cheek area).

Doctors (internist and ENT) are in the process of ruling out MS, Lyme Disease, Lupus, and Vasculitis that I am aware of (and stress - taking Xanax did nothing) and to date I have had a cranial CT scan w/ contrast, pelvic/lumbar spine MRI w/ contrast, and Cranial MRI w/ contrast. The diagnostics were negative for MS and Stroke/TIAs and there were no issues with my sinuses. Other than I seen to have a congenitally absent A1-segment, the only other issues are some mild spondylitis, disc bulging and L-5 compression... I am now waiting for lab results (9 vials) and have a referral to a neurologist scheduled for next week. Ironically, the sensations had all seized about 5 days ago, but today the nose seems to be starting up again...

Any thoughts on what these crazy symptoms might be?
