I Am A 70 Year Old Female. Have Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

I am a 70 year old female. have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and 5 years ago sufferance my first bout with a fib and a flutter. over the next 3 years, I was converted 13 times, about every 3 or 5 months. also had a heart cath. decided to stop the cardioversions and live with the flutter or fib, take the meds prescribed. we are going on a short trip and i asked by cardiologist to try one more time, he complied. neither of us think it will last in rhythm very long. what I want to know,is there anything I can do to stop it from going out, I swim and like to golf. otherwise pretty sedentary.
