I Am A Type 1 Diabetic, I Am 40plus Yrs

I am a type 1 diabetic, I am 40plus yrs old, female. I started ziprisidone as I am weaning off seroquel 800mg 2 weeks ago. I immediately noticed my sugars reading 200-300plus...saw my endo doctor, and recently talked to her, she adjusted my insulin's. This morning I went to orthopedic doctor for my knee, she gave me a cortizone injection. Checked my blood sugar at 4 pm was 375, did my appropriate injection of humalog and 90 units of Lantus per endo...checked my blood sugar again at 6 (still drinking lots of water and urinating frequently, as well as blurred vision, and dizzy. I called after hours, my endo said to do 8 units, and call her back in 2hours. Is this an appropriate measure? Thank you.
