I am at work. The company is replacing the roof protective covering and they have been taking up the old roof. We are still in the building and we noticed how people started coughing, then it started to spread to others. We associated it with allergies since the weather has been unseasonably warm. However, several months ago, the company removed the carpet from the stairwell landings because they said that there was asbestos in the stairwells. If this is the case, couldn't the roof has asbestos too? Not sure if this is a question for you, but there are definetly respiratory issues in our part of the office.
