I Am Fostering A Nine Year Old Child Who Suffered
I am fostering a nine year old child who suffered 6% burns to her right torso in April . I am concerned about the amount of medication that she is taking on a regular basis .
Ucerax - 10mg strup , 7.5ml at bedtime
Gabapentin 50mg oral solution 2.8ml three times a day
Cetirizine Hydrochloride 5mg, 2.5ml three times a day .
her GP advised stopping the midday medication and this hasn't resulted in any itching , distress etc .
Medicines prescribed by burns unit but don't seem to be reviewed , particularly concerned about Ucerax .
are these drugs habit forming , will she develop a dependency , any advice please
