I Am Having A Moderate To Severe Hip/groin Pain On

I am having a moderate to severe hip/groin pain on the left side, including some numbness and pain in my left leg, primarily when I am laying down/sleeping at night. After falling asleep, when I awaken after two to three hours, I can hardly get up and cannot find a comfortable position to sleep without a severe pain in either the hip or groin. In the morning it is very difficult to get out of bed, but when I do and begin to get active through the day the pain begins to become less and general will go away unless I am sitting a lot.
