I Am In Very Early Stages Of Pregnancy, However Before
I am in very early stages of pregnancy, however before i became pregnant (about 6 weeks ago) I was suffering from reoccurring CMV. I've had the virus on and off for a few years now, and I am due to be tested this week to see if the virus is still active.
One thing that does not seem clear to me, is even though the chances are lower for reoccurring CMV being passed on to baby, is that when the virus is dormant only? or also when the virus is active?
does ACTIVE reoccurring CMV still have low risk, or does it put you back in to the same risk category as those women that will contract it for the first time whilst pregnant?
