I Had Surgery On July 23 To Repair An Anal

I had Surgery on July 23 to repair an anal fissure. My recovery is going fine, but yesterday my urine got a very deep orange and has remained that way. I feel fine. No yellow in eyes, skin tone normal.
One of the medication prescribed was an ointment containing 0.5% nifedipine/10% metronidazole (1 gram/use really 3 to 4 times/day, followed by a 5% lidocaine gel (1 gram) 3-4 times daily.
I have been following this since July 24 (first BM after surgery) so roughly 1 week until start of orange urine.
I saw oral metronidazole can cause this, but could a typical application? And does it make sense it would take a week?
I have appt Monday with primary care doctor, but not sure if I should wait or go somewhere?
