I Had A Abdominal Myomectomy On 9/15. I Haven't Received

I had a abdominal myomectomy on 9/15. I haven't received my period/cycle yet since my surgery. Prior to the surgery, my doctor had me on Provera to stop my periods from coming as my blood levels were low and I was anemic. After surgery, the doctor advised that I can stop taking the Provera; I stopped taking the Provera on October 9th, and was expecting to receive a period shortly thereafter. My cervical mucus was that of an egg white discharge.... On October 31st I experienced some light bleeding - not even a day, and it wasn't a flow. Is that normal?

Two weeks after surgery, Shawn and I resumed having sex. It's 4 or 5 times a week. I want to know if I have to have a period before I ovulate, or do I ovulate after I have a period. I took a pregnancy test but that came back negative. Should I be worried about not having a period just yet?
