I Had A Bilateral Salpingectomy In December 2014 As Means

I had a bilateral salpingectomy in December 2014 as means of permanent sterilization. I was 36 at the time, I've never had children and I don't want any. At 25 I had the 10 years paraguard IUD put in, at 35 I then had the Esure procedure. Around September 2014 I started having a lot of pain in my left ovary, they found a rather large cyst. In hopes that it might go away on its own my gynecologist and I decided to do pain management for a while. The cyst did get smaller, about 7cm, but eventually we decided to do surgery. My gynecologist suggest bilateral salpingectomy since she was already going to perform sugery. Everything went fine with the surgery and for most of the year after I had a normal menstrual cycle. It just occurred to me that I haven't had a period since December, which is not normal for me. I'm wondering what could be going on, I know I'm not pregnant, and I'm 38 so not likely menopausal.

Thank you,
Liz
