I Had A Hernia Operation On Jan.1st,where My Doctor Put

I had a hernia operation on Jan.1st,where my doctor put a mesh in near my navel.I started working out at the gym in August(light weights,high reps,with 30 minutes of cardio).Over the past two weeks,I've suffered edema in my lower legs,especially the right leg,and trouble lifting my right leg.My blood pressue is 137/87.I saw a doctor,who put me on Hydrochlot 25 mg,but it hasn't reduced the swelling. I ama 57 yr. old male. My question is could this be a stroke,and am in danger?There is no pain,just the trouble described.
