I had a total thyroidectomy (both lobes but kept parathyroids). My cancer wasn't initially detected by MRI, in fact had to have FNA and sent to DNA lab to determine it was Stage II Follicular Cancer, and then when it was taken out I was told I had both Follicular and Papillary. Went through radiation, but six months after started having symptoms again. I have had sore and swollen lymph nodes since my surgery (mainly my left jugulodigastric lymph node but told nothing showed up on MRI only on ultrasound, but just a shadow) but it was probably nothing. My white blood cell count is 14,000 and tested for allergies of all sorts, nothing showing up, however producing lots of histamines. Then they said they also found a nodule on the ultrasound on my thyroid...how is that possible with no thyroid. I have been running a low grade fever for over two months with no antibiotic helping my "mystery infection" that they can't pinpoint. Long story short, ALL of my cancer symptoms have come back with a vengence, nightsweats, appetite loss and weight loss, etc. Could I have Hodgkin's or Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma without it showing on an MRI?
