I Had An Ingrown Hair In My Stomach , It

I had an ingrown hair in my stomach , it got really bad but i ignored it and didnt go to the doctors , it got to the size of an almond and was red , my skin started to peal, days after it looked a bit better... But now it looks like i have a little black spot and i have been having abdominal pain and shortness of breath the pain comes and goes but when it comes it remains like this for a while, should i take some type of medicine or should i got to the e.r ? And if i do have an infection inside that spread will i need surgery?
