I Had My Right Hip Replaced Due To Osteoarthritis. I

I had my right hip replaced due to Osteoarthritis. I was in law enforcement for 24 years. During those 24 years I was required to wear a gun belt, and balsistic vest along with various items such as nightstick, flashlight, mace, and handcuffs to name a few. The combined weight was well over 20lbs, with the majority of the weight being on my righside. My question is.... Could the additional weight I carried, 40+ hours a week, getting in and out of patrol vehicles, sitting and standing, be all or part of the reason my right hip developed advanced Osteoarthritis? There is no genetic history, also I have it in my left hip, but just not as advanced as in my right hip.
