I had surgery to repair the peroneal tendon in my right foot/ankle 3 years ago. Yesterday all of a sudden when I walked or moved my foot, the area just blow my ankle, on the same side as the surgery, and on top of my foot feels like something is tearing, painful, burning sensation. Pain and burning have continued and gotten worse today progressing to constant pain. No injury yesterday, just routine walking. Could this be scar tissue tearing or is there a high risk for the tendon tearing again? Thank you!
