I Had Taken My 12 Year Old Son To The

I had taken my 12 year old son to the local children's hospital two days ago. He was treated for mycoplasma pneumonia. They administered two breathing treatments and steroids in the hospital and prescribed him prednisone twice daily for five days, clarithromyacin twice daily for ten days and an albuterol inhaler 3-4 puffs every 4-6 hours as needed, he had also been taking amoxicillian twice a day for 5 days prior and I was told to have him continue that medication as well. Yesterday, my son seemed back to normal, with his cough better, full appetite and drinking normally. Through most of today he was fine until around 8:30pm when he had chills and a headache and a oral temperature of 101.0. He had been without a fever for 4 days before i had taken him to the hospital two days ago. Is this a common situation or do I need to take him back to the hospital?
