I have Hashimoto & Graves and have had a pretty crappy past year with it both of them. I did the iodine radiation last August and went WAY hypothyroid (54) and now am stable. I lost about 35 pounds back in 2015 from constant throwing up and diarrhea. Had major heart palpitations and wore the monitor for a couple days. Some of them were the wrong rhythm others were fine but they felt it was within safe limits and nothing was required. I take propranolol and it really didn't do much. It pretty much resolved on its own over several months and Ive been fine until recently. The past month ive felt funny and thought my thyroid labs may be off and my meds were too much. I routinely get this foggy dizzy feeling and my thyroid (which is dead) feels sore and if I skip a dose of levoxyl it usually helps and its better. I started feeling this way again about a month ago & then I got a cold. I am sick with what feels like the flu- sore throat, achey, tired, cough, fever(now gone) and my stomach is starting again. I went in today to have a check up and she heard a new heart murmur. She said it wasn't impressive but she could definitely hear it. Waiting for my thyroid labs to come back. My plateletts are low which seems to be something that just happens the past 6 months but they are lower than the last time126,000. Could that be contributing to a murmur and do I need to have anything checked with a murmur? She said she would just note it in my records.
