I Have A Bacterial Infection That Is Mostly Bronchitis, But

I have a bacterial infection that is mostly bronchitis, but is also giving me chills. I was given Cefdinir which caused my head to blow up with sneezing, constant nasal drip, and headache. I got a second medication, Doxycycline which has helped the coughing, but has not knocked it out. I am down to 2 pills and not well enough to think I'm well. They tested me for pneumonia with a chest X-ray and blood test, but both were negative. No fever was detected. Do you have a suggestion of a hardier medication that is not Cipro-related?
