I Have A Cyst That Ruptured Under My Skin Yesterday.

I have a cyst that ruptured under my skin yesterday. My dermatologist is booked for the whole week but fit me in yesterday. He gave me a steroid injection to shrink the cyst and wrote me a prescription for antibiotics. He did not drain it or relieve the pressure under the skin. I can not sleep because of the pressure and pain. The fluid under the skin has doubled in size and is now putting pressure on my ear canal. Who can I see to fix this? Would my internist be able to drain it or do I need to wait until the dermatologist is available? He was hesitant to do anything because of it's location on my face and he didn't want to leave scars but this is unbearable, I've been laying in bed crying for the last 30 minutes because of the pain.
