I Have A Large Vein Just Under My Skin, Going

I have a large vein just under my skin, going from my stomach across my left ribb cage, and it kinda hurts a little when ibtouch it, and I noticed it when I reached upward with my hands, I work hard labor, I lift a lot of heavy things, do u think its a hernia?
