I Have A Relative With Hasimoto Disease, He Is Having

I have a relative with Hasimoto Disease, he is having vision issues, blurred vision and spikes in BLood sugar, as much as 350. He was taking thyroid mess that may have expired. He is 37 and lost 25 # in last severalmonths. He is on 3 new meds, one being Metformin(sp.) for one week. I'm an RN, but on too informed about this disease. Where can I become more informed?
