I Have Been Fighting A Persistent Cold For About 3

I have been fighting a persistent cold for about 3 weeks. Have seen a physician twice at urgent care. Finished antibiotics. However, cough has reduced drastically, but occasionally cough with very little flem, white in color. Now my ears are giving me problems, ringing and one ear has reduced hearing, sounds like under water. Is there anything over the counter to dry this up?
