I Have Been On Blood Pressures Meds For About 10

I have been on blood pressures meds for about 10 years. Now I'm being told my pulse rate is too low. It's at around 45. One of my meds has been changed and my pulse rate now fluctuates between 70-75. However, my blood pressure, that had been averaging around 118-121 over mid 70's, has not gotten lower that the hi 140's - mid 150's over mid 70's.
i was truly hoping to get off my meds after losing 20 lbs, which is what my doctor said would happen, until my pulse rate became an issue. what do I do?
