I Have Been Sick With A Bad Cold For Past

I have been sick with a bad cold for past 2 weeks. Coughing, congestion, runny nose, sob with activity, sputum is clear-yellow although 3 occasions of some blood. Somewhere in the course of things I developed a pain in left chest area and left shoulder. At first it was not painful, just felt like pressure and it was not constant. Now it is more painful and constant, however, it does go away if I take a couple ibuprofen. Is it likely that I've pulled some muscles with all of the coughing I've been doing?
