I Have Diastasis Recti Which Was Caused By Alchoholic Ascites.

I have diastasis recti which was caused by alchoholic ascites. Last ultra sound May 2016 showed no ascites and I no longer drink. I would like to get a tummy tuck to correct this, but everything I read is related to pregnancy. I am 56 yrs old, and have never been pregnant. I excersice daily and am not overweight, just have that bulge down the center of my abdomen. Could you please give me some feedback on this and where I can find more information. I am not sure if it matters how you got diastasis recti, or just that you have to be in good health for the surgery, but I would like tp find out more on the surgery if possible for someone who has had ascites. Thanks
