I have diverticulitis and been battling it on and off, I drink aloe Vera gel and take ginger root.. I also take a digestive enzyme with each meal. Take a probiotic every day.. When I eat foods like turkey, tuna fish, chicken.. White bread and eggs little sausage sometimes.. When I do all this I feel pretty good.. But anytime I try to A) drink a little beer B) eat anything with sugar cookies, snacks etc C) pizza & beef. I feel bad for a couple days and my stool will turn yellow.. Also since I've had this issue I've had hemmroids on and off. My question is what else can I do to fight these issues.. I would like to have a beer once in awhile and hey even a burger.. I've lost 25 pounds with eating better, should I be taking a fiber product as well??
