I Have Had A "cyst" On My Ring Finger Drained

I have had a "cyst" on my ring finger drained a few months ago, but now it's come back. I tried wearing my wedding ring again awhile ago, but it started to irritate my finger, so I removed it. Unfortunately, it didn't come off easily, even with soap and water, and now my finger is swollen around the joint again with the puffy "cyst" thing again. What should I do?
