I Have Lost My Son And Thinking About Taking Lorazepam

I have lost my son and
thinking about taking lorazepam 0.5 mgs. Not long ago, I tried to take it, apparently, I was too raw with grief, and felt like it was not effective. At night time I take a sleep which will give me approx. 5 hrs of sleep. This month, I will be 79 yrs old. No matter where I am, I cry daily. I feel like I have had the wind knocked out of.
Before this tragedy, I played tennis three times a week. For theraputic, I am planning to return. Will this med be a detertement to physical excercise?
