I Have Periodic Episodes Of AFIB, Fairly Mild, Often With

I have periodic episodes of AFIB, fairly mild, often with a known trigger that I try to avoid. Have had extensive heart examination and testing, all good. My question is: If the duration of each episode is fairly short, is there much less danger of stroke. My episodes never exceed 12 hours and are usually less than 2 hours. Have not had any clear guidance on this. ps I am 84 years old, male, excellent health and take very vigorous exercise, eg high intensity interval training, which my body seems to love.
