I Have Sever Musculoskeletal Pain According To My Doctor....she Has

I have sever musculoskeletal pain according to my doctor....she has me enrolled in Physical Therapy of which I have only taken one treatment..I am 88 years old and my Physical Therapist put me thru extreme exercise, such as stretching my limbs , twisting my legs up and down, back and forth...I felt that at my age there was a possibility of breaking some bones..but she apparently knew what she was doing with me...I still have sever leg and thigh muscle pain when I get out of bed during the night and in the morning/ ..however as the day goes by, say with a couple of hours, the muscle pain seems to get some better to the point that I can walk some better...do I keep with this therapist for the next 11 weeks, Tuesday and Thursdays? Does the pain get some better sooner or later...or should I withdraw from these classes. I am trying not to use a cane, or walker, hoping not to get addicted to either...I do walk slowly as not to fall. Thanks for your information.
