I Have What SEEMS To Be A UTI. I Am

I have what SEEMS to be a UTI. I am a 46 year old female. Antibiotics don't seem to help, but what scares me the most, is the pain I'm feeling in my lower left side. It feels like a burning ache, and if I don't take ibuprofen it is incapacitating and makes me vomit. It happened to me at work the first time 2months ago, and I went to the ER. They did an ultrasound of my kidneys and bladder, but didn't find anything. My Dr just put me on antibiotics, and it seemed to get better. I also want to add that at that time, the pain went away after about 20 to 30 minutes, and didn't return until this past Thursday night late. The previous time the pain was on my right side, this time it was my left. It was worse and lasted longer. I vomited as well, and it hasn't fully gone away since. I've had bowel movements, no blood. No visible blood in my urine, but was present in the culture at the hospital with the first episode. What do you think this might be?
