I Have Young Onset Parkinson's, I'm Now 59 And Was

I have young onset Parkinson's, I'm now 59 and was diagnosed eight years ago but was told I'd had it for the prior 15 years, that my other diagnosis of fibromyalgia was incorrect. My doc started me off on a dose of Sinemet every four hours starting at 6 AM but over the past two years I have been decreasing my meds slowly, very slowly and now I'm only taking two doses a day and sometimes those are half doses. For the first time ever this week, I went for 36 hours without any meds at all and I felt wonderful. I feel better on less meds than more. I was also taking a very small dose of requip with each dose of the sinemet but I slowly decreased those as well and have been off those for many weeks now. My dat scan confirmed the PD but why do I feel better off the medications? I also do many different exercises daily and eat very pure and clean, lots of water and good brain supplements which I'm sure has helped but still, I'm a little bewildered, is everything I'm doing curing me like I've read can be done? Is it possible to fully recover and have no symptoms anymore? Am I hurting myself going off the meds? Will it catch up with me a backfire? Thanks
