I recently masturbated for several hours during the course of the last 3 days. I would say around 30 hours between the last 72 have been devoted to masturbation. I ejaculated approximately 3 times during this process, the last ejaculation resulting in extreme pain in my right testicle. It felt heavy and swollen and sensitive to the touch. I struggled to find a position in which i did not feel pain. An hour or so later, I still am experiencing mild pain in my testicle. The pain can be described as a hernia, which was my first inquiry among the diagnosis of the cause of my pain. I have come to the conclusion that I have self-inflicted trauma to my genitals due to prolonged masturbation, culminating in a from of acute epididymitis. When researching testicular pain online, my symptoms coincided with varicocele, however, I am inclined to understand that testicular pain in varicocele patients predominately occur in the left testicle, and are very rare to affect the right testicle. I also read somewhere that the right testicle is some starting mark for the sperm that is eventually going to be ejaculated. My symptoms include:
* Pain standing/ "relief" laying down.
* Visible swelling of testicles
* Pain similar to a hernia, seemingly in the lower right abdomen the scrotum/testes
* A feeling of having to pass gas. This might just be gas =]
* Pain lasting for a little over an hour.
I have had this pain before in an almost identical situation about 2 years prior to this occurrence. My question to you is can prolonged periods of masturbation without urination or ejaculation bring trauma to my reproductive system, therefore causing some form of epididymitis? And if so, could this be a serious matter that may not solve itself naturally? Could my prolonged masturbation truama potentially cause long term effects? What should my first steps be when contacting and discussing this with my primary physician? Might I benefit from a specialist in a certain circumstance? Thank you for your time, and hopefully your response and my question will help others in my same predicament.
