I Take Targin 40/20 12hrly An Oxynorn 20 2 Twice

I take Targin 40/20 12hrly an oxynorn 20 2 twice daily I have T11,12, L1,2 fused with titanium prosthesis. L5 is fractured L3 has moved forward 6mm. In 20 years had 3 failed spinal surgeries an suffer pain. The dose iam taking was decided after a 6 week pain clinic. 6 week's ago after C.A.T. scan findings are I have ruptured L5 S1 disc causing me extreme pain in my legs, right leg most intense. I just turned 59yrs. Iam a retired Mechanical Engineer an had a fall of 18feet landing on my feet in 1996 this was the start of me taking opioid meds. Although my Doctor agrees the L5/S1 injury would be very painful he refuses to increase my oxynorn to 2/20 3 times a day, which I tried an got relief. He insists the dose 2/20 oxynorn 3 times daily won't work an his ansser is more surgery. I also have osteoporosis an arthritis. I am not having any more surgery an find it "cruel" to say the least. Would appreciate your opinion.
My Regards R.H. Bunce .
