I Tested Positive For Type-A Flu In January Of This

I tested positive for Type-A flu in January of this year, 6 day course of fever, aches, chills, cough, runny nose. Yesterday, similar fever and body aches started 12pm, high fever of 103 for 4 hours starting around 4pm, chills, body aches. Took 2 advil at 11pm, went to bed. Today, no symptoms of any kind, other than an area on the front of my left shin, 6" tall, 5" across, that is a reddened color, warm to the touch, and very sensitive to touch. The entire area hurts when I stand and put weight on my left leg. Your thoughts?
