I Was Complaining To My Doctor About Frequent Bouts Of

I was complaining to my doctor about frequent bouts of nasal and chest congestion, I sing and it was interfering. I also have mild COPD. He prescribed Montelukast, which to my mind, had too many side effects, so I haven't started taking it yet. Recently I suspected that I may have a wheat allergy, and the symptoms described are what I have. Nasal congestion, itchy skin on neck and throat, stomach swelling. Is this a possibility, if so would this prescription help?
