I Went To My Doctor Yesterday And He Heard A

I went to my doctor yesterday and he heard a heart murmur that has not been there before. He is going to schedule a echocardiogram so they can see what is going on. My mother and one of my sisters have prolapsed mitrovalve
Is it possible that is has just decided to rear its head or should I be more concerned with hardening or thinning of my valves? I have experienced in the last year a couple dizzy spells, swelling of my feet and ankles, headaches/migraines, tingling in my hands, heart palpitations and some shortness of breath
In reviewing symptoms, it seems I have more of the mitrovalve than the artery or valve disease. I do have high blood pressure, but I have a high stress job and in the morning before work and evenings after work my blood pressure is good. I am on 10 mg Lysenapryl
