I Went To The Doctor Four Days Ago Because Of

I went to the doctor four days ago because of a bad cough, congestion, and weezing sound in my chest; he prescribed an antibiotic and steroid (1 x 5 days). For the last two days, anytime I cough, I get a terrible sharp, shooting pain in the bottom part of my lungs. Obviously I'm trying to not cough as much as possible, but is there anything I can do about it? Should I go back to the doctor? Thank you for your advice.
