I'm Experiencing Prickly, Itching Skin From The Top Of My

I'm experiencing prickly, itching skin from the top of my head, inside my ears, face, all over my body to my feet. It begins about 4:30 in the afternoon and progressively gets worse until I'm ready claw myself raw. Thankfully, I can usually go to sleep once I get in bed and force myself not to scratch.
I've eliminated peanut butter, nuts, chocolate, wheat, coconut oil but regardless of what I don't eat this still happens. I stopped taking supplements for a month--it didn't help.
It began in early January when I was prescribed zythromyacine for bronchitis. After taking it for acouple of days the itching began so I thought i was allergic to the med and quit taking it. It happened a few other random times over the course of the next 6 weeks, and benadryl helped, but this past month it has happened almost every single day. I cannot get an appointment with an allergist until July 26. A phrmacist told me to take claritin rather than benadryl which helped for a few days but has not these past two weeks. I do take 4 prescription meds: gabapentin 3 X 300 mg, hydrochlorothiazide for HBP 27 mg, vesicare, and naturthyroid 96.5 for hypthyroidism. It's not detergent since it didn't happen when I was away from home for two weeks and the clohes I wore then had been washed in the same detergent as what I'm presently using. A blood test revealed nothing wrong. Can you tell me another OTC med to take to get some relief? Or bettter yet, tell me what's wrong!! This is driving me crazy.
